Our spa is nestled at the edge of a Totara forest and overlooks a verdant fern glen and winding stream. Each Treatment room is equipped with a shower and changing area, has floor to ceiling views and opens into a private outdoor space where guests can enjoy garden inspired treatments al fresco and fireside.

Choose from a variety of treatments, including different styles of massages, foot reflexology, facials, pedicures and manicures as well as hair care. You are most welcome to enjoy our sauna, Jacuzzi spa pool, our state of the art fitness centre equipped with a full spectrum of exercise machines and free weights, as well as our heated indoor lap pool. The spa is open 7 days a week and treatments are available from 10am to 7pm or by special appointment. The Gym is open from 7am to 8 pm.

Appointments
Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to allow for stress-free check-in. Your late arrival will determine the length of treatment. Your service needs to end on scheduled time as to not delay the next guest.

Cancellation Policy
Please note: Treatment times are reserved exclusively for you. A minimum of 24 hours is needed to cancel an appointment. Without this notification, you will be billed the full price of the service. If you need to change the time of your treatment within the 24-hour cancellation period, we will make every effort to accommodate your wishes but cannot guarantee the availability of a therapist.

In Room Treatments
All of our massages and certain other treatments can be experienced within the privacy of your Kauri Cliff’s guest suite. Please add 20% to the cost. Inquire with guest reception as to which treatments are suitable for in-room service.

Comfort

The Spa is an area of relaxation and tranquillity. We ask you to refrain from using your cell phone and pager while on premises. The spa is a non-smoking area. Please do not consume alcohol prior to or immediately after your treatment as it may impair the effectiveness of your treatment. We would like to suggest allowing time either before or after your treatment to enjoy our Jacuzzi and/or sauna.

Clothing
We provide a robe, slippers and a locker for your use. Bathing suits can be worn for Vichy Water Treatments or we can supply disposable underwear.

Staff
You may have a preference for either a male or a female therapist, please inform the front desk at time of booking.

Payment of Services
Services for lodge guests will be charged to their rooms. For day guests we accept all major credit cards, cash, eftpos.

Gratuities
Gratuities are not expected but may be left in appreciation of exceptional service.

Special Attention
Please communicate any special health conditions and needs to your therapist in order to maximize your enjoyment of the treatment and its benefits.

Valuables
Please leave your valuables in your guest room safe. The spa at Kauri Cliffs cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.
