We have a number of options available for accommodating children, including in-room, adjoining rooms and neighbouring suites.
Children can sleep in the same room as their parents, with additional bedding or cribs added on request to our Deluxe Suites.
Our side by side Suites and Deluxe Suites, Deluxe Family Suites and Owner’s Cottage is ideal for independence-seeking teens and tweens, while accommodations for nannies are also available.
Children up to the age of 24 months stay complimentary at Kauri Cliffs, while children aged 2-5-years are NZ$200 + 15% GST per night when occupying adults room using existing or additional bedding. A charge of NZ$675 + 15% GST per night apply for an additional bed for a child aged 6-years or older.

Our chefs would love to discuss meal preferences for your children during your stay, and will manage dietary requirements and fussy eaters to ensure a well-balanced, delicious meal is devoured by our youngest guests.
Boys aged 16-years and above are asked to wear jackets when dining in the main dining rooms at Kauri Cliffs. The lodge has jackets for young men available for use at the lodge. Please advise at the time of booking and upon arrival if you would like to borrow a jacket.
Children under the age of 12-years may dine in the restaurant until 7pm, upon which time alternative dining arrangements can be made. Alternative dining arrangements include private family dining and in room dining.
Kauri Cliffs offers private dining in the Green Room, Green Room Balcony and Tiger Room that can be reserved for families, and in-room dining is also available.
All of our suites are stocked daily with fresh baked cookies and brownies from our kitchen, and fresh fruit is also served in-room daily.
